Any recommendations for a meeting place somewhere along the M4 or M40?

Am meeting my mum to pick up DD1 from her. We usually meet at Reading Services at it is halfway for us, but it would be nice to meet somewhere a little nicer for a little longer. Somewhere halfway between Gloucester and South London is where we want to be, not too far off the motorway. Any recommendations?

How about the Living Rainforest place just off the M4/A34 junction ? Or slightly further off the M4 is Beale Park (next junction towards Reading, about 15 min off the motorway).

Dinton pastures country park is v close to m4 j10. The cafe is very nice, serves lovely lunches and cakes. There is a playground and ducks to feed.

Cotswold wildlife park off a40 at burford perhaps.
