Beach Resort near Barcelona

can anyone recommend a good beach resort near Barcelona? 2 adults & 2 children for a week in July. Thanks.

Looked at camping Montroig which was bigger but very nice. I think they had mobile homes to rent

Sitges - fabulous place!!!!

Montroig is lovely, nice beach, pools, restaurants, loads for kids to do. It is incredibly clean - the loos even pass my bleach test!

I have been several times and my parents used to go there for several months at a time (off season and when retired so cheap) But....I remember it was incredibly expensive in season.

Sitges - gorgeous and has a train station with direct trains to BCN. Very gay in parts (which bothers me not one whit) but lovely.
