Looking for nice camp site in Normandy or West side of Brittany? Anyone?

We went to a Castels group site last year and it was lovely. We are looking for that same sort of quality again but not sure where to look other than the rest in the Castels group.

The children really like waterslides, so they are a must.

Thanks Smile

les deux fontaines is nice and whilst not castels one quite similar. the one in carnac is quite busy, but the area is lovely - south brittany though -sorry can't remember the name, but imagine it would be on the castles website

We have been to St. Pair-sur-Mer. Is that the one you stayed at? We've also stayed at La Vallee in Houlgate which is near Caen. I'd recommend both of them. We booked both through Eurocamp.

We've camped at Chateau des Ormes in Dol de Bretagne. It's a Casttls site, 2 pools, boating lake, pony rides . Prett sure it's covered by the usual holiday companies, eurocamp , canvas etc, but we took our own tent.

we've been to dol a couple of times - the boys like the astroturf football pitch. site has lots of activities and local town is nice. only negatives are that it can be a little noisy at night when people come back from the nightclub and its a bit of a drive to the coast. but we went there 2 or 3 times.

we did a stop over at hulligate. the site we stayed on was right next to a train line which would have been a nightmare for longer than a night - this may be a different site and maybe ok if you were over the other side (train ran down other side of our pitch)

lots of reviews on ukcampsites.co.uk
