I need some ideas about where to stay in Cyprus ...........

Where is a good place to stay? There will be me, dh and ds's (3 and 1). We don't mind being rural'ish as we will have a car. As long as there are shops and a few restaurants within a 5k, that's fine.

We would like a villa with its own pool - so if you have any recommendations then please me know. We would prefer to not be on a complex, but if the villa's arent on top of each other then that's ok.

Not too worried about being close to a beach.

We really want a week of vegging with the boys, with days at the villa and days out as well.

Any suggestions would be welcome thank you.

Look up Pissouri. It's a nice village not far from Paphos. Plenty of restaurants there, also near a beach, lots of villas, 20 minute drive from Paphos, about half an hour or so from Limassol.

Try Coral Bay, it's near Paphos. Nice and quiet but has plenty of cafes, restuarants and shops. The beach is nice too. We stayed in the first villa here www.pafos-villas.com
