travel toys for 12m and 3yr oldq

Hi

We are planning to drive down to Cornwall this summer and our DS and DD will be 12m and 2 1/2years. It's the longest journey we have done and will take about 6 hours does anyone have good tips of car toys or games to help pass the time for both of them (I am happy to buy them diffrent toys).

All suggestions appreciataed I am just trying to plan ahead.

I would suggest toys that you can attach to the car seat so that they don't drop to the car floor, and so are always accessible. So anything that you can attach to a pushchair. CD's of nursery songs and kids TV shows theme tunes can provide a change. For the older DC, don't give anything that has small parts or is messy, and the type of games will depend on whether there is an adult sitting there at the time supervising.

Make sure there is plenty of time when you stop for meal breaks for a good run around, and hopefully they will nap for some of the journey.
