Easter hols - stumped on ideas!

On the last day of the easter term me & a friend were hoping to do some things with the kids over the holidays. This coming week DD has a fair amount planned. Swimming tuesday & easter egg hunt at the school thursday. Tomorrow (Monday) we were hoping to get her friends together & head to the woods for a picnic. its becoming easier said than done & we have just realised if we plan everything this coming week we have nothing to do next week! So, with the weather looking ok-ish tomorrow, is it worth going to the woods for a picnic or should we switch to play date or indoor play center?

The woods can be planned for next week too but thats about all thats planned for that week.

If there are few enough people going thwn stick with the woods - yiu can always do a last minute change to soft play if the weather isn't great tomorrow.

Rainy day stuff: cake baking, junk modelling, collage and general arts and craft stuff.

Is your library or local museum running any local events over easter. Also check out local stately homes/places of interest and even shopping centres.

Gardening - does not have to be anything too wow. We have a tiny garden but you could start off a few tubs/baskets or planting seeds.

Do you have a good/better/bigger park in anearby town or village. You could go there for a change one day with a picnic.

Also check out your local leisure Centre and see what they have on. Some run free swimming or swim for £1 in school holidays.
