...if you wanted an inexpensive, warm, sunny holiday, short-haul with things to do/things going on in the evening, but not too busy/noisy and not full of English pubs/karaoke/drunk teenagers etc.

We've been to Greece several times for this sort of holiday and it's been lovely, but where else would you recommend?

Tunisia. Or the Algarve.

I went to Coma Ruga in the Cista Dorada fora few nights pre cruise last year and that was lovely. Probably about 5% English there. I really enjoyed seeing the Soanish children dressed up in the evening heading of to the funfair or going for a walk.
Croatia is also lovely.

Oooh.... Croatia, South of France, Algarve?? Do you have children? How old?? I love love love Barcelona, but maybe you're not looking for a city based break?

Italy? Similar to Greece but gobsmackingly pretty. Been through it lots and had snatch's in Naples, Pisa and weekends in Venice etc. However can't recommend a good family holiday because I haven't done one.

Do you want beach, pool, culture, food, nightlife - AI vs selfcatering. Do you have kids - how old? What is your budget?

Hvar Croatia. Lovely, cheap and laid back

Turkey was beautiful.

As was menorca.

Greece still my favourite though. Corfu in particular.
