More Kinderhotels - Vegetarian?!?

Help, have just realised that going to one of the Kinderhotels with a largely (i.e. everyone but me) vegetarian family might not be the best idea in the world.

Does anyone who has been there remember whether you might be able to survive without eating meat? Have narrowed our choice to Alpenrose, Post at Unken, Sporthotel Achensee and Rieser's - namely, anywhere within an hour and a half or so of Munich Airport. Thanks...

At most similar Austrian hotels I've stayed in (Half or Full Board) you chose your evening meal at breakfast (i.e. tick a list). Usually there is a choice of at least 2 for each course, and to the best of my knowledge there is always a veggie option.......they are not as backward as you might imagineGrin. Should stress we're not Vegetarians so memory may be faded! Phone the hotels and ask, they'll all speak English. You will always get a Veg option but there may not be a choice.

Thanks :) I just remember being in Germany back when I was vegetarian and finding a large slice of ham at the bottom of a 'vegetarian' parmigiana! Don't think my H would be impressed...
