Baby beach tent

I'm looking for a good baby beach tent for ds who is currently just 4months old. He's dc1 and I haven't got a clue what makes a good one or bad one. Any recommendations? Are they worth it?

Definitely worth it, although it's also worth getting a wind breaker or you might find that you have to pitch it facing away from the sea to stop it tipping over :) Look for something big enough for an adult to sit in, not just a baby play tent like this. The ones that look like half a tent are great. Make sure it has a 50+ UV rating.

This one looks good.

We have a large pop up one called a sunseeker i think. (a while since it has been out) it sits 3 or 4 of us in it even now (ideal if it rains) it unfolds without the need to put rods in which makes it dead easy to put up and take down. we still use ours and it is ideal for stowing stuff in when you are in the sea or sitting in during a shower or for teenagers to sulk in with a book. It twists shut and makes a circle that then goes in a bag.
