Dd is off to Spain on Thurs (stike allowing). I've not been to Eoro countries for a couple of years and found an old purse full of small change. Are coins as small as 1 cent still valid and if not what's smallest legal tender?
There's about 8 euro so she might as well have it as extra spends if it's still vaid.

Yes, 1 cent is still valid!

1 cent, 2 cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, 20 cent, 50 cent, 1 euro, 2 euro.

All still in circulation :)

Thanks. I was just concerned because it's such a tiddly amount. Xtra sweeties for DD!

LOL, you've just answered one of my questions too. I just had a clearout and found bags full of old euro/cent coins which I was wondering about giving to DD for her ski trip next week Grin
