Somewhere to eat near Cadbury World?

I'm hoping someone can suggest somewhere we can have lunch on Sunday when we come down to Cadbury world with my DD and her friends. Somewhere reasonably priced, child (ages 4-11) friendly, not McD or KFC but would consider pizza hut or similar. I really don't like going into cafes within attractions as I hate queuing and don't like eating with crowds which is why I have discounted the cafe in Cadbury world but happy to be persuaded:-). Many thanks

Cadbury world is horrific - don't go.
Especially if you don't like crowds and queuing. It's a nightmare.

Oh dear! The tickets are bought! Tbh I don't mind queues for attractions it's just for food. I've had too many bad experiences balancing trays of food in cafeterias! If it was just us we'd have sandwiches in the car but I can't do that with her friends.

tbh they get so much free chocolate during the trip around cw and then at the end the kids won't be hungry

better idea to let them eat the free choc and take some sanwiches/drinks for the small platground bit at the end, they can run off steam amd have a sarnie

If the weather is nice, a picnic in Bournville park (v short walk see google maps), else Broad Street in B'ham city centre (c.3 mile drive)

On the way to cadbury's world we spied a frankie and bennys which we returned to. We didn't let them eat too much chocolate as we'd gone after lunch.

Thank you for your replies. The picnic option sounds good especially if the weather is good and the children need to run around a bit. Will look at the F&B option as well.

There is also a Chicquita close to Frankie and Benny's Smile

We went today and its worth a visit just to see the erm.....big purple erection in the winter/snowy scene that the little ride goes through. It appearred to be doing something unspeakable to itself! Blush

other parents noticed too! not just our filthy minds. Hmm
