be aware of Ryanair travel insurance trick

This is in the latest copy of Which

They add travel insurance of £11.27 per person unless you opt out - fair enough; but there isn't an opt-out option in the travel insurance box itself.

Which finally found "Don't cover me" in the "country of residence" box, between Latvia & Lithuania Confused - if you whizz down to the bottom as usual & select UK then they will charge you.

WTF????

Honestly Which must have somebody full-time keeping on top of all O'Leary's twists & turns.

He is an evil genius Hmm

Got caught out with that one myself but they have a cooling off period so i managed to get the money refunded.

it just annoys me that there's so many things that you have to opt out of these days.

Will never fly Ryanair again after having to literally run to the plane across the tarmac clutching two toddlers to get seats together, hotly pursued by a marauding pack of fellow passengers! Shock

Got to be seen to be believed!
