Medical facilities in Sharm el Sheikh - will be pregnant when I go and want to be prepared

Any tips? I can see there is the Sharm International Hospital, and the South Sinai one a bit further away. Any others?

I don't know of any other hospitals that are there, but Sharm el Sheikh is not a big place and the roads are clear so it shouldn't take you long to get to hospital if you need :) I have not been in Sharm International, but I have been past it and I remembered it because it just looked so modern and sparkling and big and fresh- much better than hospitals here! I imagine it is well equipped. Good luck and have an amazing holiday!

For what it's worth, when we were in Sharm last Easter, the deposed president was in hospital there... not sure whether that's a good or a bad thing from your point of view, sorry not to be of any actual use.

Sharm international has a good reputation.

remember to check your travel insurance will cover you - suggest you tell them before you go that you are pg and check you are covered for maternity related conditions
