Albufeira, Portugal anyone?

We are going at the end of March for a week in a private villa. Just wondered what teh area was like and what we can do onec we get there!
Also are the locaL shops well stocked for example nappies....
Oh and what is their milk like there??

Sorry a lot of questions and getting excited!!

Hi houseworkmum.

First of all nappies: From what I remember, they don't stock Pampers, but do do Huggies (there's a big supermarket on the outskirts of Alubfeira, opposite the drive-through McDonalds). There is a local brand which were fine for emergencies, but you might want to take Sudocreme just in case little one has a sensitive bottom!!!
The milk is fine - they do full fat and semi skimmmed - can't remember which is which, but you can work it out from the calorie information.

Where exactly is your villa - we used to stay about 20 mins from Albu, so may be able to recommend a few places.

Thanks guys.... we are going just outside Albufeira in a village called Carvoeiro. We are going with James Villas.
Any places you can suggest would be great.
