Legoland, is it worth going for 2 days?

Planning a trip to legoland in August and thinking of staying a night in a hotel and spending 2 days at the park.

I haven't been for years, so is there enough to keep everyone busy for 2 days?

DCs are 14, 5 and 3.

TIA

If you go out of peak season you can do the whole park in one day, but come august with the queues you would need two days to do all the rides and re ride some favourites no doubt. There is lots to see in the area and Windsor town centre is nice for a walk if you need more entertainment! Enjoy!

We went in August and stayed two nights in a hotel which offers a Legoland Package. Although the second day was a bit shorter than the first, we wouldn't have got round in one day and it gave us the chance to leave before the traffic started building up, as we had a long journey home.

Yes.

When we went (dcs were 10, 8 and 5) we went on a freezing day in April, when the Berks children were still at school, and it was forecast for sleet Grin so relatively small crowds.
We paid in before it even opened, and were chucked out at the end, and felt we could have done with longer there (I was most disappointed I didn't really have time to look at the actual lego models ! for example).
So I'd have thought as you are going in August, then you will be waiting longer in queus and 2 days could be easily filled.

14 year old might well be bored with a 2nd day.

Not enough to keep a 14 yo busy for 2 days - maybe the 14 yo could strike out on his own to Windsor castle on the 2nd day?

Legoland is not really suitable for over 10s. Mine outgrew it at 9, I would say.
