Going to Italy on Easyjet in April with a 6 month old. Does anyone know what they do with your buggy when you get on?

It says we can take free of charge a car seat and pushchair, and we've got an iCandy peach (which is lovely) do they stow the pushchairs somewhere safe? Are we better to take a cheaper pushchair instead?

When we went to Rome with easyjet they took the buggy right up to the plane and they had it ready for us when we got off the plane.

take a cheap one, they let you take it to the gate but when they put it in the hold they aren't gentle with them, we went to spain a few years ago with easy jet, when we got the pram back it was so squashed it wouldn't open

Agree take a cheap one.You can take it to the steps of the plane but then it goes in with all the other luggage and comes out on the conveyer at the other end, sometimes on a different belt for special luggage.Never had one waiting & ready for when we got off the plane!
