passports how long do they need left on to travel to mainland Spain ?

They are going to mainland spain and the kids will only have three weeks left on the passports when they leave spain do they need to panic and renew now or renew when they get back they go in three weeks?

No need to panic, as long as they are in date, they are valid. They can renew when they get home.

Should be okay.

When we returned from a France trip once - DS passport was due to expire the next day.. it was pointed out to me by the immigration lady. She was just being helpful though I think .
