It's a small Spanish town, lovely for just wandering and having coffee. The beach is good {although the sand is dark]but will be busy in August. it is very close to marbella, Gibraltar, white villages up in the mountains. The hotels tend to be on the outkirts of town, so a car would be a good idea although you could taxi or bus it. There is a little port where all the bars and restraunts are.
