What would they be like?

Where would your nightmare place in the world be to be taken by another family?

What kind of holiday would you take them on?

ie where is your typical holiday?

So for 5 days you are taken on the other family favourite holiday

the next 5 days you take them to your favourite holiday

my nightmare would be to somewhere hot and VERY cheap on a resort chock full of fat english people stuffing themselves with chips and lying around all day getting sunburned

should say, i don't mind the cheapness per se... just thinking of the kind of cheapo, hot, manky place that a lot of brits seem to enjoy going to!

so like they are on atm in Benidorm starlover

my ideal place would be somewhere like Toronto or San Francisco or Sydney.... on a holiday where I can do my own thing and check out all the local attractions and culture

Any place w/lots of noise - in other words, all those resorts like Faliraki, Ibiza, etc. Getting pissed every night and making a fool out of myself isn't my idea of a holiday.

Ideal holiday: self-catering cottage by the sea in a quiet location, self-catering cottage in an area w/a lot of pretty countryside/sites of historical interest.

My nightmare family would be my own.

They are like care in the community types that shouldn't be in the community.

I would hate to be taken to any Spanish resort or holiday camp.

I would take them to the rainforest and pray to God that they get lost.

My typical holiday is backpacking somewhere I've not been before and making everything up as I go along.

What kind of holiday would you take them on - self catering in France involving vast amounts of food, probably a really badly chosen place with bad drains and swarms of mosquitos

Well you see my ideal holiday has two variations - one involving certain 4 and 1 yos and one not involving them.

I think our ideal family holiday would be central France - maybe the Vendee in rather luxurious self-catering accommodation with lots to do in the area, great beaches, lovely weather, plenty of child friendly restaurants. That sort of thing.

I think we would most hate with the kids going somewhere hot, without decent beaches and having set meal times.
