Anyone been to Algrave (Portugal) in late May? Is it hot enough?

That's it really. Looking to book a holiday in the Algrave area in Portugal for late May as this is the last year we are not confined to school holidays! Looking at last week of May but wondering if anyone has been and actually knows what the temp is like? Many thanks! :)

It will be lovely, IMO. We've been at easter & it was really warm & sunny, day temps about 24 so by may should be lovely.

Have a good holiday SmileEnvy(jealous, we might get there in Oct, limited to school hols)

Thank you so much! I emailed the dude running the accommodation and his answer was 'depends on what a cissy you are'! LOL... Hmm

Well, although it was nice & warm when we were there in April it wasn't warm enough for outdoor pool (for me anyway, cos I am a 'cissy'!! Grin), DS & DP quite happy to brave it though.

Where you looking to go?

Friend of DH recommended a development of private villas called Fonte Verde. I think DS1 will brave it, DS2 possibly not. Argh! It's so hard to decide. They do have a heated baby pool though.

I went late feb/early March last year and it was a lovely temperature.

Last time I went in late May it was sweltering.

Thank you all. Looks like the general consensus is that it will be hot enough or too hot as opposed to too cool! That's right up my street as I come from a tropical country originally and not liking this cold. Will have a chat with DH tonight and look to finally booking the holiday! Thanks. :)
