OK this is a more specific try - Pointe St Gilles or Les Menhirs?

Someone has to have an opinion on this?! 5 year old + 2 year old who's scared of swimming pools. Beach a must.

I guess I'll toss a coin then...

Have stayed at Les Menhirs. It is within walking distance of Carnac and its beaches. Carnac is a lovely place, quite an old-fashioned seaside resort (has a great ice-cream shop with more flavours than you can ever imagine.

The campsite is okay but a bit lacking in takeaway and shopping facilities probably because of its proximity to the town and a supermarket. The pitches are not huge and the site feels quite compact.

There are standing stones to go and see - you can see the big ones all exposed but we also found some in woods which you could go up to and touch - really quite magical.
