Sorry but another Eurocamp thread - sites in South Brittany really near a beach?

Have looked at too many now, getting confused!

Anyone been to South Brittany with little ones and loved it? DS terrified of pools but they both love beaches so we'd really love walking distance to beach.

I just want to book one!

TIA Smile

Les Menhirs, walking distance to Carnac

We love southern Brittany and have spent les Grandes Vacances there for the last 5 years. The beaches we have used have all been ideal for toddlers, sandy and very clean; many also have lifeguards which is nice if you have slightly older DCs who want to swim on their own.

I can't vouch for the campsites as I haven't been to them, but I would recommend the ones near Nevez; and of those two I think Raguenes-Plage seems to be nearer the sea. There is a huge beach nearby called Tahiti by the locals, and our favourite, Treguinan which is a short drive away.
The town of Concaeneau is quite near, which is lovely place to visit.

Like Ingrid the beaches near Raguenes are lovely and we stayed at this campsite which was lovely but a trek to the beach.
If you wnt the beach right on your doorstep (literally, if you get the right pitch!!) try which is right on the beach and you can cycle into town along the cycle track by the beach.

ukcampsites give reviews. les menhirs is walking distance to le men du beach - this is one of our favourites beaches anywhere and we live by the sea and are fussy. i think the site might be little cramped from what i read, but there are some nice bars within walking distance. we've stayed at grand metairie a couple of times which is short drive to beach - quite a busy site.

les deux fontaines a nice site. eurocamp pitches were pretty good and quiet. i like the walk through the fields to the beach. - not as far south as carnac though

south brittany fab and weather usually better than elsewhere
