17 year olds going on holiday abroad on their own

Does anyone have a 17 year old who has gone away on their own abroad?
Where did they go and what is the name of the hotel or accommodation that they stayed in.

I have two 17 year olds who want to go "somewhere hot" for a week. I'm thinking Spain or Ibiza. Anyone got any advice? Tour reps etc?

Make sure first of all that any tour companies/hotels/packages they choose do not have the over 18's only for making the bookings specification that many of them do have. some are over 21. they may struggle to book because of this so worth checking it out with a travel agent before they get all excited and pick somewhere it is apparently why so many teenagers go to newquay when they are under 18. SIL had similar problems with her DD's so thought i would let you know. hope it is useful.
