France for Easter -top tip

A top tip if anyone is looking for an Easter break in France - the place we stayed last year has just advertised 30% off for the 2 week easter holidays on their facebook page. The complex of 5 cottages near La Rochelle is called Mirabelle Gites and it was brilliant - they even did a special easter egg hunt in their forest. The kids played all day on the site and we just chilled out, actually read a book and drank more wine than was good for us. Their site is www.bestfrenchgites.co.uk
If you go please say hello from Mel and Harry - Enjoy

Hi Amelgirl, we stayed there in 2010 and are going back this August. We loved it.

Hi Ruthiebabes
it's great isn't it - a real find! so rare to find something so good for families and so friendly and comfortable. We were too late to book for summer or we might have been having a glass of wine with you! We may even make a last minute dash for Easter this year - it was 30c for the whole 10 days last year!

Yes we absolutely loved it. We had mainly good weather, although I dont think last August was that good. Fingers crossed for this year.

All the adults sitting round having wine in the evenings was great. I do enjoy meeting new people on holiday. Obviously the kids loved the place, and they cant wait to go back. Its the first time I truly relaxed on holiday since having the children, I even read 2 books!! Roll on summer. If you go at Easter have a fab time.
