If you are talking about flights then your dc at 9 months will pay a nominal fate if on your lap. If they have a seat it s a reduced fare. The fare breakdown isnt clear on Expedia so it is unlikely you are paying full fare. It usually says £500 per adult average cost. look at a BA flight to compare it.
