Looking for a holiday for me dh and ds (who will be just over two) for a week in june, and another for us plus newborn for a week in september. We're going termtime, but would still like somewhere with tons to do. Last sept we went to Butlins and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves (bar the skanky accomodation!) but we're aware it will be entirely the same this year.

Can anyone recommend anywhere? We don't want Dorset, Or anywhere too north but we want somewhere with an indoor pool, and tons to do in the evening that we can take ds in a buggy and he'll sleep through.

We quite like the look of trecco bay in wales, has anyone been??

Alot of people rave about Trecco Bay, its not a bad area. Never stayed myself as I live in South Wales, but has a good name!!

Trecco is a very lively resort (ie high level of alcohol-related entertainment) so not sure how suitable for a young family unless you're looking for clubs and bars too. Tenby has better beaches where you'd be near Oakwood theme park and Folly Farm (farm park). There are some campsites there, but not sure of the names.
