Has anyone travelled with Gulf Air with kids under 3? How was their Sky Nanny service? What did they actually do?

We had an outstanding sky nanny on our outbound flight to Bahrain last year, DS2 was 7 months at the time. They help you from the departure gate, she was waiting for us and the one other family flying with a baby and got us on first, had bassinets prepared for us both and was so lovely to other two children. I was flying alone and she saw that immediately. She had books, games and even bubbles to entertain the older two. Arranged meals for them and helped them find things to watch on the TVs, was an expert on communicating with them! She kept walking around with DS and showing him off to other passengers, an when DD vomited was like Mary poppins. She insisted that I slept along with the older two (it was an overnight flight) DS had other ideas and she kept him fed, entertained and full of attention on and off for two hours while I dozed. She even returned him freshly changed from their on flight collection of nappies and wipes. He smelled lovely.
I guess we were lucky because there was only two babies on board (and not many children) and the other family didn't accept that much help. Coming back DH was with us and so it wasn't as stressful but again I couldn't speak more highly of them! It's an amazing service so take it! No other company come close!!! Happy flying!

Thanks Witty! I dread long haul flight as it is and am not sure if I can do it alone with 2 kids under 3. Your comments are really encouraging.

It's always going to be a. Hallwnge but the sky nannies are perfect for it! You made the right choice going gulf Air if say because they can't do enough to help. I would give them a call and ensure the service is available on your flight and make it clear that you want it and why. And defo book a bassinet if one of yours in under one as theyre a life saver, it will also make sure you get a bulk head seat which is way more room for kids to move around and be free from the aisles! The only criticism I have is they would let me take my pushchair to the plane like some carriers do.
Where are you off to?
