Ryan Air - changed flights by 3 days!!

I know that flights sometimes change by an hour or two, but I've just had mine changed from Sunday previous Thursday.
We are offered a refund or that leg of the journey but can't get a flight on the same day without the costs spiralling. If we go with the new date it means that we would have to take more time off work and take the kids out of school which we decided we wouldn't do now DS1 is at secondary. We don't yet know whether we can get our apartment any earlier, so its a bit of a mess.

I'm furious - anyone else had this? Grrr.

Sorry to hear this, and I'm afraid I have no real advice to offer. Sadly, I think that if RyanAir have offered you a refund, that is probably all they are obliged to do - sorry; I know that's not what you want to hear, and it would piss me off too.
The only other thing I can suggest is that you might try contacting a journalist on a travel section of a national newspaper about your plight. They might not be able to do anything for you, but it's worth a try.
