Any advice would be well appreciated.

We took half eaten baby food from the plane into Australia. They were fine when they saw we had an infant. My reasoning was that he has hardly eaten on the plane, the shops were closed and I wasn't throwing it away unless I had to because I might need it before we got to the hotel 1 hour away. So baby food is fine.

No idea about formula - but surely all sealed up it would be fine.

Declare it all though, tick that you have food on the form.

hi,We took unopened tin of formula and the small cartons of formula, as long as you make sure you declare it,it's fine.

just declare it and they will probably ask to see what it is - the food that is - and you are allowed to bring in enough formula to last a month.

I'm sure you will be fine. I took some biscuits (a free sample from the previous destination) and declared as they'd said 'any foodstuffs'. We were dealt with and moved on much, much more quickly than the poor saps with nothing to declare (big queue), so I'd say it was a positive boon to take something, whether you need it or not!!
