What is best way to get to NASA space centre for a day from disney resort - no car yet!

We want to do a day trip but no idea which is best way to go hire and car and diy or a trip????? on the bus????? by water??????

Not by water anyway; that whole area is off limits to boats and pleasure craft. Also the area surrounding the KSC is designated as a nature reserve.

If I remember correctly Gray Line run a day trip to the Kennedy Space Center from Orlando. Journey time is about 2 hours each way.

Are you going with a tour operator. I think Virgin do a coach trip.

You really don't need a map, it is a very easy drive from Orlando.

We went, albeit 15yrs ago, and got a tour bus to KSC, it was one of the tickets we bought at our welcome meeting, we went with Virgin. We booked then the day before were told there was actually going to be a launch, it was fab, one of the highlights of my OH's life. Idiot that I am, when we got the message on our hotel phone, I thought they said "there's going be a lunch" what with the accent and everything. I thought "mmm lunch".
