Is there seatbelt extension that allows a baby to sit on your lap during the flight?

I've got a good reason for asking what might seem a silly question- flying with easy jet in about 8 weeks time & will have 18 month old dd on my lap for take off & landing. Reason I'm slightly worried is im of curvy build shall we say & am worried about getting myself in the seatbelt let alone dd! Do they give you an extra seatbelt or something? Blush Thanks do much

Yes they do. Is not an extension as such but a seperate belt that clips the baby onto your belt.

So the baby won't take up any of your seatbelt.

As Viva says, the baby's belt has a loop in the back - you thread your belt through this loop and fasten it as normal.

Thanks beaver & dragon! Big sigh of relief but still continuing with my pre- hols diet!
