Easyjet - separate boarding pass for infant

I'll be flying from Liverpool airport with my 18 month old DS next month and have just checked in online and printed boarding passes. There were only two passes - one for me that mentions a 'plus infant' and one for DH. I remember flying with DS from Liverpool last year and I had massive trouble at security as they insisted DS have a separate boarding pass - I can't remember how I got round the problem. Does anyone know if this means I have to queue up and check in at the airport (even though I'm already checked in) so that they can give a separate boarding pass for DS? Thank you!

I recently went to the middle east and i wasn't able to check in properly online. I had to do it at the desk because I was flying with an infant. Always worth calling the airline to check though?

I'm pretty sure we coulnd't check in on line with an infant either. I would phone then and check.

Just flew Birmingham - Geneva with an infant and I checked in online. I only had one boarding pass, as you say. No problems.
