Club med resorts

has anyone been to or can reccommend a club med resort. looking for one for holiday with 4 yr old DD and DS who will be 10 months. Thinking of Turkey, or Punta Cana but happy to look at others if reccommended.

I have been to Club Med Hammamet and Club Med Beldi and we are off to Club Med Palmiye this year! Any specific questions please ask! We loved both resorts but they were both different so it depends what you are looking for x

Beldi was one of the ones we were looking at - did you have any language problems - worries me a little putting DD in kids club if french is spoken all the time. how were the drinks/food?

We didnt have any real language problems, a lot of the staff speak very good English but we were staying with some friends who spoke fluent French so we had a back up if we needed!
Our kids were fine in club but again we went during half term so there were other English kids about for them to play with. How old are yours? Ours were 4 and 7. Our little girl made lots of lovely friends and mostly was very happy to go and our son loved doing all the cool activities!
The food and drink was 10/10, as good as I've eaten anywhere, there was so much choice and all freshly prepared/cooked that the problem was choosing what to have without putting on loads of weight!
Some of the accomodation is better than others, ask to be all on one floor not the one with stairs as we chose this one but didn't like it (they did move us the next morning without any fuss but easier to get it right straight away!) Also some are near the road/other resorts which can be noisy so ask to stay near mini club or towards reception.

Thanks for that - we are looking to go the first 2 weeks in June (so over half term) so hopefully there will be a few other Uk kids there. Considering the holiday village in turkey but the chav element does put me off a bit, which I don't think you get at the club med resorts.
