BA Club World with 19 month old/bassinet seat qs, etc...

Hi there
We are flying LAX-LHR with a 19 month old who is booked on our lap for the flight, in BA Club. We have the bassinet seats booked on the basis BA have the bassinet seats that can, apparently, take kids aged up to 23 months. However, I have read online that a lot of people found their toddlers too big for this seat and I am now worrying I should have bought him an extra seat (I booked a few months ago when he was much smaller!). There are now no miles flights left in CW either. Has anyone any experience of this and can you advise/put my mind at rest?! Thanks so much

I travel with DS (16 months) a lot and just having flown I think we'll easily be able to use the seat until he's 2. DS is average size/weight. It's perfect for sleeping in but my wiggly worm won't sit in it for long periods. I also put him in it for his meals. IME BA is the most child friendly airline. HTH

I'd think he'd probably be unhappy to sit in it when awake but would probably fit in it for sleep, unless he's unusually large for his age.

Agree with times is and wet noodle. If you are in club world won't you have a bed? Dd snuggled next to me in the bed at that age.
