I don't know about Florida, but it is not sold here in Oregon, so I don't think it would be there. There is nothing sold here manufactured by Milupa, either.

I have not found it in Texas, either. MAybe the safest thing would be to take some with you. I used to do it even when going to Spain where aptamil is sold. I didn't want to waste a single day of the holidays going from one pharmacy to another searching for it.

We're just back. Didn't see Aptamil, didn't see SMA. They have 'local equivalents' which have similar formulae. You can take your brand to the pharmacist and they might be able to advise on the closest recipe. As they're all done to 'a formula' IYSWIM, you shouldn't have too hard a time. Having said that we packed 4 large round SMA tubs. PITA they were too, LOL.

thanks! I'll take some with me in that case - just one more thing to add to the million other things ! - and a few less things I can take to wear..... btw is there a restriction in the water parks on taking babies in with you?? I don't suppose you went to any did you?

sorry, we stayed blissfully dry although managed to get the buggy wet playing chasey with a wave on the beach, LOL. No experience of water parks.

we were in florida a couple of years ago, we brought enough formula to last the flight and a few days until we got settled.
they dont seem to sell any UK brands as far as I remember. However all the big supermarkets had loads of formula, all seemed really good quality. As a nutritionist I was really impressed, they didnt seem to have all the additives that UK formula seem to have, they were more similar to the likes Nanny formula.
The only problem you might have is with the taste, most uk ones are really sweet, those in florida dont seem as sweet.
you could always take 1 week supply, and buy 1 week supply, and mix the 2 together. that way he will like the taste and you dont have to carry out as much.
as far as I remember formula/nappies/cot/car seat everything u could possibly need was much much cheaper than here.

thanks gloworm - that's really helpful. Will take a tub along and see how I go!
