Anyone in Turin or Northern Italy generally?

Dh is meant to be flying back from Turin today but phoned to say there might be a problem as the airport is snowed in. Anyone know if it has been sorted yet? Surely the Italians aren't as bad as us when there is a bit of snow? I want dh home!

I'm in the middle of Italia and have to say its bloody cold today. Turin is a big airport so I would think the problem would have to be huge for the flight not to go.

I so hope you are right. last I heard, he said they were anticipating the airport being open by the time of his flight, but then I thought after putting the phone down that they would surely have to clear their backlog of flights?

I am sincerely hoping the Italians, being more used to this weather than us, have a more efficient way of dealing with it.

They will be in Turin because its more or less in the Alps and they get a lot of snow and fog in the winter

Sorry to hijack but how is it all going in Italy Mary Pop?

Some things great and other not so. Me and the kids are as happy as larry. I starting working in a school last week and am enjoying that.

Unfortunately we haven't got the house finished and have run out of money so it half done. Also my DH's business is not doing so well and he's not happy here.
