Ferry to St Malo

We wanted to get overnight ferry from Portsmouth to St Malo and it's already sold out! Looked at Condor Ferries and it's quoting me over £300!
Does anyone know of any other ferry companies which could take us across to France?

TIA

Which dates are you looking at? Could you travel to Caen or Cherbourg instead? If you are looking at school summer holidays and the £300.00 with Condor includes a cabin I would snap it up - overnight to St Malo with a cabin in July/August will be at least £500/600 and that's after discount...

Thanks for the info. We were looking at early August, so peak.
Looks like we'll be going on Eurotunnel again Smile

Fastcat with Brittany ferries?

Depending where you are headed it may be worth looking at Caen or Cherbourg. It will be a lot cheaper, particularly if you travel at an unpopular time!
It makes me very cross - we have a gite in Brittany and for the last 6-odd years we have had guests not able to get on the overnight to St Malo as it's full - BF know the popular times & routes so why not put more on at peak times? Hmm

I hope you can sort something out.
