We spent the day in Bordeaux with four children - youngest four. We parked out of town and caught the tram in which was ideal, the kids loved it. Really frequent and reasonably priced. There were plenty of parking places on the outskirts that were well sign posted. While in the city we just generally walked around, the city was really pleasant and pedestrianised in many places and all flat! There are plenty of squares to play in - Gambetta Square & Quinconces Square ? or take break in the Public Gardens, north of Gambetta square. There were also many fine patisseries to look at and indulge in! All in all it was a lovely and relaxing city to spend time in. Enjoy.

Paddling in the Miroir d'Eau by the river in front of the Bourse - for toddlers of all ages

There is usually a roundabout at the back of the Place de Quinconces. Fun to ride on the tram too.

I love Bordeaux Wine
