How to sell a time share?

My PILs have had a time share in Cortina d'Ampezzo for years. As they are no longer in great physical shape they are thinking of selling it. Which job obviously falls to their lovely daughter-in-law me.

Has anyone any good ideas? Who in their right mind still buys time shares? How can you get rid of them? Or do I need to rent it out for the rest of eternity?

I just offloaded a week on behalf of a relative through Timeshare Shop ltd based in Manchester (google will find it). It wasn't an easy or quick process but we got there eventually. However do not expect to get any money- literally- the advantage to the seller is not having to pay the management fee going forward

Thanks, will. I would be very happy to get rid of this thing before we inherit it!

Thanks again. Through their site I found TCA who seem to have some good info as well.

Hello, are you still interested in getting rid of your timeshare?
