Loved Dartmoor Hay Tor rocks and Becky Falls, where are similar places in Peaks? Perhaps Mam Tor or other easy climbs. Loved the area last time we went, visited Heights of Abraham and Carsington etc, wondered about Derwent reservoir and Chatsworth this time too.

Depends what you mean by rock scrambling....

A good climb / scramble is Grindsbrook as a way on to Kinder.... It's more than a walk but not to challenging - my DD was 3 or 4 the first time we took her up that route and it was fun but challenging... Now at 10 she's up like a shot - no issues at all...

Had great reaction from teens at Brimham Rocks in Yorkshire once, initial 'Kevin' like reluctance to even get out of the car turned to childish glee scrambling around the place, was joy to see! Same reaction at Hay Tor, both stunning places. So need to get them to places I know they will be pleased to be at when they see it, if you know what I mean! Thanks for suggestions will keep notes for when we go.
