Costa blanca experiences?

My sister has just got a small apartment hear torreivja.

Anyone been to that area? How was it? I've never been to Spain or even to a touristy spt really so any info would be helpful!

there are very posh parts to the costa blanca, but torrevieja definately not one of them! Javea and Moraira Altea and Albir, and in fact all the way between valencia and alicante is great, with lots of inland villages worth exploring, amazing beaches and of course easy airports. once you get south of Alicante to Torrevieja its a bit arid and barren and less pretty. doesnt mean you wouldnt have a lovely holiday, guaranteed sunshine and great food.
