Rhodes with a 3 month old. Am I crazy to think it's possible?

DP's Brother is getting married start of October, in Rhodes. I am due 1st July. We arn't going to book anything until after baby born and they'll understand if we decide not to go. Will only go if everything is fine and baby is all ok etc
If it wasn't a wedding we wouldn't even think about it, but would really like to be there, it was all booked before I got pregnant so not like they've picked a bad time on purpose!

Is is possible? Is there anything I should think about? Forget whole idea?

I was thinking of trying to get a self catering apartment in a resort if they exist. Wedding is in Lindos if that helps.

It is definitely possible. I took DS1 to Tenerife at 10 weeks abd DS2 to cyprus at 10 weeks. It's a lot easier to travel at that age before they start crawling around.

I think if you're feeling fine, it should be okay. I wouldn't book anything straight after the baby's born, you might need to be rather last minute in your arrangements just so you know how you're getting on.

yes! the younger they are the easier to travel with and cheaper so make the most of it!

Breastfeed - don't have to worry about bottles milk etc.

Thanks! feel a bit better about things. Am planning on booking as last min as we dare, I think October should be easier for this, will need to make sure passport is sorted too!
Am planning on breastfeeding and getting a baby carrier so hopefully that'll make things a bit easier.

I had a right laugh getting a photo for ds' passport (we went to Amsterdam when he was about 10 weeks old) - fortunately they are fairly forgiving about the usual 'no smiling / look straight at the camera' requirements. Just as well as he was travelling on the same pic of him as a cross-eyed newborn until he turned 5 last year Grin

I took my 2 week old traveling around Thailand and Goa for a year no water anything.

Rhodes will be luxury!!

I took my baby out to Turkey to live when she was 8 weeks and it was fine.

Breastfeeding is the best and easiest thing then you don't have to worry about bottles.

You should be able to find plenty of self catering accomodation in Lindos, I remember going there a few years back, it is very nice.
