Hi there,

My wife and I have just booked a holiday to Tunisia with our three Children (7, 5 and 1)over the Easter break. I was just after any advice that may come in useful.

Do we need to pack things like nappies or can we get them there?

How can we possibly entertain the kids on the plane?

Peoples experiences in Tunisia?

Peoples experiences taking three children on holiday?

Any other advice?

Thank you for your help.

Hi, we took our eldest 3 when they were 4, 2 and 1.

We hired a car and whizzed around Roman and Carthaginian sites no problem. There's lots to see in Tunisia.

I took nappies and formula with us - we stayed off beaten track so I'm not sure about purchasing nappies there but tourist resorts normally have evything you need and Tunisian babies must wear something ...?

It's a surprisingly short plane journey - 2 1/2 hours? - so pretty easy. The 7 & 5 yr old should cause you no difficulties ... books, stickers, non-sticky snacks etc. A one yr old can be painful on a flight, especially if they're crawling or just into the wandering around stage. But it is a short flight so if the two adults have to rotate nursery rhyme singing duties and incessant trailing up and down the aisles after your youngest, it'll not be for too long!

The Tunisians were very welcoming and helpful with the children and we had a really lovely holiday there. We'd definitely go back. Have a great time!

TRL,

thank you very much for that useful advice. I will definately take my licence with me. I am glad you said that you had a good time as some of my colleagues are scare mongering and have told me that they had a terrible time. We cannot wait to go.
