Help - we need a quiet resort in Portugal

My sis is looking for a relatively quiet resort for a holiday in Portugal in June, any ideas? Could be either Algarve or atlantic coast, with some restaurants and the odd bar but no really lively clubs.

Any ideas? She's going with a female friend.

Burgau in the Western Algarve is lovely, we stayed there some years back and then visited again when we stayed in Lagos last year.

There are some restaurants and a few bars but that is it. The beach is nice there too.

Eastern Algarve, along the Rio Formosa is just beautiful. Hardly any tourists, lovely authentic restaurants, gorgeous beaches and lots of little towns and villages to visit. I like Fuzeta but Olhao and Tavira are nice too. And you're only about an hour or so from the Spanish border so could hop across there for a look around too.
