Anyone know of a nice place to stay in Frascati.? We have a two year old and ideally would like a self catering apartment.

Xx

Hackneybird, I live very close to Frascati - think it is the first time it has ever got a mention on MN! I can't really recommend anywhere, we stayed in a very nice flat whilst looking for a house just before we came here but it doesn't seem to be available for rent anymore (sorry that is not much use). This one though -

seems nice and has lots of positive reviews (I am not the owner by the way!!). I would say beware about some of the holiday rentals in the area, looking at the map they are not really in Frascati. The one above is 7km from Frascati, but reviews suggest it is in a good position - although if that far from town you may want to think about hiring a car.

Can I ask why you are thinking of Frascati for a holiday? It is nice here but perhaps would not be my first choice of family holiday with a 2 year old (if that is the reason for coming here)

Hello Baccarat

We're coming to Frascati for a wedding. We were thinking of renting a place for a week but as we can't find anything suitable we're going to just come for the weekend and then bugger off to a campsite in Tuscany!

Hi,

I wondered if you were coming for a wedding. I would also just come for the weekend, as I say it is nice here but not really great for a weeks holiday with a 2 year old. Depending on the time of year the area around Sorrento is really nice for a few days as well, and not too far from here.
Hope you have a good time wherever you go

We're coming for the first weekend of September. Thanks for the tip!
