Can anyone find me a cheap SUMMER holiday in Minorca?

We (I) fancy a 2 week break in the summer holidays (yikes)and Minorca has always sounded appealing.
Kids will be 7 + 4 - so,has anybody got any recommendations, or better still can anyone find me something?!!

Which airports are closest Uni and any preference on dates? I love looking at hols

London airports, Heathrow best, but Gatwick next...(Stanstead is a bit of a hike) and anytime from end of July - early September.

Or, if it's a huge amount cheaper perhaps the May holiday (1week?)

We ahd a fantstic holoday in Menorca a few years ago - can't remeber the apart/hotel but it was in cala n Bosch - ideal allr ounder type resort with lovely restauarants. My friend booked it for me so you could try her:

Okay, I checked out packages and although some state 'free child' they add on occ supplements so work out at around £1700 for 2 weeks.

So...
Doing it independently works out a lot cheaper, 10 nights from £1000 and 15 nights from £1300. I included a villa and all inclusive option as it may work out cheaper than buying food/snacks for 4.
