We would really like to do a sc holiday preferably black forest, but open to other regions with some outdoor stuff and towns too. Dc are all teenaged. No idea of websites to start from. Seems much harder than finding places in France. TIA!

We went to Sudsee campsite last year which is North Germany between Hannover and Hamburg, lovely part of Germany.

Stayed in a fantastic holdiay cottage on the site there and people very friendly and helpful. Had a lovely pool on site as well which was free to people who stayed there.

Did day trips to Hamburg, Hannover, Belsen war camp, Heide Park (which has the worlds largest wooden roller coster (and is part of Alton Towers group)

Also went to Schuamers(sp) for a fun go karting day.

Went on overnight ferry from Harwich and then a 5 hr drive up to area.

Hope this helps

When I lived in Fallingbostel and Hohne, we used to go to Sudsee for day trips. I liked it there.

www.landal.com have a few sites in Germany. Like a cheaper version of Centre Parcs.
