70s party weekend Butlins Skegness

I'm thinking of booking a Butlin's party weekend for my dad's 50th birthday at the Skegness Butlins and I'm just wondering whether anyone else has been to one of these weekends and what they are like?

Alot of drunk people having erm .."Fun" everywhere and i mean EVERYWHERE!
I went stayed one night and let ....... Children's holidays much more fun. Adult weekends NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Save yourself and your poor dad!

Girls weekend away - perhaps. Dad's 50th birthday - nooooo. don't even contemplate it unless you are really really prepared and you have a swinger for a dad! There are so many other fun things you could do - day at a racing circuit, balloon ride or something else similar that this imo would be a nightmare.
