When is it best to book flights to Las Vegas?

Hi all!

I need to travel to Las Vegas from the 30th of June until the 7th of July. When is it best to get flights? At the moment the cheapest is around 900£ but when looking at offers until the end of March they only cost around 400-500£ return. Shall I wait until a few weeks before to get a last minute offer? I am slighty flexibel in the dates (1 Day +-)

Would fly direct if possible; same day transfers within the US can be time consuming and stressful.

I would fly from any London airport to Las Vegas Airport. Yes, I have found a reasonable priced offer from Virgin Holiday so will book it now.
