Ideas for a weekend break in France for the end of Feb half-term

Hopefully someone will have some ideas for me. DH and I would like to take our sons to France for 3 or 4 nights at the end of half term. They have an inset day on the Monday.

The boys are age 8 & 9 and they can't remember ever going to France before, so partly its just to let them here French spoken, taste French food etc. I want to enjoy themselves though.
We live in Surrey so its easy enough to get to Dover or to fly from any of the London airports.
Can anyone suggest somewhere we could go in France (prob Northern France) in Feb that would be enjoyable for children?

We had a short break in Picardy - not a region we'd ever considered but it was very cheap and handy from Calais. We stayed near St. Valery - there's a steam train which runs around the bay which kids of all ages would enjoy.
